This message is for those residents that pay using the annual coupon book. This does not affect anyone already using auto-debit/ACH, their bank's bill pay service, or through PayLease/Zego.
All coupon books were ordered on December 4th, however due to Covid the supplier of the coupon books has had to operate with fewer staff members than needed. In addition, due to both the holidays and Covid affecting the post office, what would normally take 3-5 business days to deliver the mail is now taking 2-3 weeks. Remember most communities allow until the 15th of the month before a payment is considered late. If you would like to mail in your payment before you receive a coupon book you can mail it to the bank: {Name of your community} c/o The Avalon Management Group PO Box 52982 Phoenix, AZ 85072-2982 You may also mail it to our corporate headquarters: {Name of your community} 31608 Railroad Canyon Road Canyon Lake, CA. 92587 You can drop off your payment. You may also drop it off in the drop boxes located at our Canyon Lake, Temecula, or Oceanside office. Pay Online. You may also sign up to pay online by clicking the “My Account” Icon, then Log On, then Login. Please be aware that before you can sign up for automatic payment, your account must have a zero balance. Please make any balance due payments by check, and then come back and sign up for auto-draft. You can make a one-time payment online, but there are small fees charged by the third party provider that processes credit and debit cards for the Association. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and we appreciate your understanding while we all deal with the effects of Covid 19. Very truly yours, Avalon Management, as Agent for Association The Board of Directors has a vacancy and is seeking any interested homeowner to fill the vacancy. This is a great opportunity to help your community. If you are interested in serving your Association, please contact the Community manager at [email protected] for more information.
The Board is currently seeking any interested owner who would like to serve on the MAC (Master Architectural Committee). The committee reviews and approves/denies the architectural applications for the community. The position takes two to three hours monthly and is a great opportunity to become involved and serve your community. If you are interested in this position, please send an email to [email protected].
A letter was recently mailed to owners of the community informing them of a project the Board is looking forward to proceeding with. After reviewing the letter and photos, please take the time to let the Board know if you like the design and project. As you may have noticed, the mailboxes were recently replaced. As stated in previous newsletters and the mail out sent to all owners, please pick up your key at the Avalon office in Temecula. Please be sure to bring a photo ID and, if your address is not listed on the ID, a utility bill that lists your name and address.
Avalon's Temecula office is open Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and the keys for the boxes will be available to pick up at that time. The Board has gone through a little transition over the past several months. As members have left the Board, new members have been appointed to replace them. Please welcome Jeff Hartsuyker and Corinne Jardot to the Board!
The Board would also like to thank Jun Sensano and Ron Vidaurri for their years of service and their dedication to the community. For the Board of Directors and Avalon Management, Memorial Day is much more than a 3 day weekend and barbecuing. This is a day that we remember those that have lost their life serving to protect our country. To our active military men and women: the Morningstar One Board and those at Avalon appreciate everything you and your family sacrifice to provide us with our freedom. Join us in honoring our active military personnel and if you happen to know someone serving, take a moment this weekend to thank them. Spring is here! The Association has partnered with a local real estate agent for a Neighborhood Garage Sale on April 1st from 8am-Noon! Directional signs will be provided, along with water and donuts! This will be the easiest garage sale you’ve had to do! Please make sure you call or email the agents to RSVP. They will add you to the list to make sure directional signs are added to the corners so people know where to go! RSVP NO LATER THAN March 29th! Call the agents directly at: 951-505-4571 or Email them at: [email protected]
The Board of Directors are seeking your help! In January of this year, the Association sent out a ballot and packet regarding the addition of monument signs at our entry points of the community. One way or the other, the Board wants to hear the owners voice. Please take the time to vote for this important matter for the Association. If you still have the ballot and packet information, please review it, and send in your vote! If you have misplaced or lost the ballot, please contact Avalon Management and they can provide you with a new one. The voting ends on March 13 so there is still time for you to cast your vote for the proposed signs. By Gordon Tredgold

When it comes to productivity it’s the little things that make the difference… Ever notice why some people seem to have twice the time as others? Yet there are only 24 hours in every day. Thomas Edison once said, “Time is really the only capital that any human being has, and the only thing he can’t afford to lose.” Since we all wish to get more from life, there’s no better way to accomplish this than by finding ways to do more with the time you have been given. Super Successful People Do this Every Day… 1. They Fight the Tyranny of the Urgent 2. They never touch the same things twice 3. They start their days with the least appealing things first 4. They don’t multitask 5. They get ready for tomorrow before they leave the office 6. They stick to their schedule during meetings 7. They say No 8. They only check email at designated times 9.
